It’s been a long road. After failing to meet my Kickstarter goal in 2013, I was left sitting on an EP and wondering what would happen next. I thought very seriously about quitting music altogether, and in a way I did. There are certain aspects about the music life I’ve given up, I’m proud to say. Proud because they no longer serve me. I’m looking for growth in my life more than anything these days.
While this took around two years to complete, if not more, I am no less excited about it. Here I’ve compiled songs from my one-woman-band show on the first disc, Myth, and then an audio collage made with a handheld recorder on the second disc, Ology. They are the two sides I find myself presenting, dependent upon the kind of show. All in all, I am proud of this one and look forward to letting it out into the world.
Now that I am in the process of ordering the physical copies, I am providing you with a way to pre-order. It will be two discs, one for your booming car speakers and one for you whispering headphones. An actual release date is still in the works. (I don’t feel comfortable setting a date until I have them in-hand.)
